June 2006 - The Lords now have a new drummer! Let it be written: a new era has dawned. Joey Hissem of Slack-Jawed Yokels fame will now be getting our back on stage. We'll miss Pete, who has moved to Rhode Island to play for the awesome Sasquatch & The Sick-A-Billys. We wish him the best!

August 2005 - THANKS to all of our fans for voting Lords of the Highway as BEST LIVE ACT in 2005 in the Scene Music Awards! And the Lords also received BEST ROCKABILLY/GARAGE BAND in 2005 from the Free Times Music Awards a couple of months ago. We attribute this success to two factors. First, the demise of the Cowslingers, which have been the Juggernauts of our Cleveland music scene for as many years as I can remember, and secondly, the addition of the Missing Link: Pete Yorko!

July 8, 2004 - If anybody knows a guy named Joe that was at the Lords show in Buffalo at the Mohawk back on Friday, June 18th, can you tell him to email us? He was kind enough to put us up after the show, and we inadvertently brought his only blanket back with us to Cleveland. We call him "Blanketless Joe from Buffalo"

July 2004 - The Lords just finished their acting debut with Speedfreak Productions. The shoot was at an abandoned house in Youngstown, Ohio. The Lords played at a party for the gang "The Red Skulls" (which is also the working title of the film). Turns out, the party punch is spiked, and anyone that drinks it becomes a mutant! Dennis and Pete both drank the wicked brew, and ended up killing me! They were way too happy about it too. When the film is done, hopefully we will have copies to sell to y'all, so you can see your favorite left-handed female upright bass player get killed by her bandmates!

June 2004 - Hey Y'all! Our new drummer Pete is working out great. He likes biscuits and gravy a lot. We just finished recording our 5th CD. Should be out in a couple of months. We're considering re-issuing Haulin' Ass and Lost in Sin on a combined CD. We've only got about 100 copies left of each! We're really looking forward to the Rock 'n' Roll Family Reunion at Heavy Rebel coming up 4th of July weekend. It's a chance for us to see all of the touring bands that we make friends with throughout the year. Man, those guys are all crazy, and I can't wait for the mayhem!

June 2003 - Well, it's happened again, we're releasing a new CD (Lost in Sin), and our drummer is history... We are the Spinal Tap of rockabilly. Our CD release party is June 14th at the Beachland, and this will be Mike Chipchak's last show. Mike put a lot of work into the new CD, he did all of our artwork and layout, and he's still working on a video for us. We're sorry to see Mike go, it's been a fun year and a half. And we're very excited to welcome our new drummer Pete Yorko! His first show with us will be down in Winston-Salem, NC on July 4th weekend. We're excited to get that show under our belts, and then start bookin' full throttle.
Come on out to check out Pete, and pick up your new Lords CD!

December 2000 - Hey everybody - Sugar here! Dennis asked me to update you on what's the
news in "Lords Land", our happy go lucky world of truck drivin', heavy
drinkin', and chicken eatin'. Our new CD should be out by the end of
January, on our new label ? SQUIGTONE! They live in New Jersey, and they
have lots of rockin' punk, and now they have some rockin' punk-a-billy. I
just wrote a new song but Dennis and Scotty say it's "girly". Now, it's
about smashin' up cars, so I'm not sure where they're comin' from, but I'll
keep workin' on it, 'cause the Lords don't do no girly music. We just had
a kick ass show and a great time in Huntington West Virginia. We might
just park White Lightnin' (Dennis' wheels) down there on the river and call
it home. We've finally got a gig scheduled with the Twistin' Tarantulas
comin' up in the end of January. I'm so excited to share a night with
Pistol Pete. He's one of the hardest rockin' upright players out there.
Well, I can't wait to see ya at our next show, so I can give you a GREAT BIG...
